Kevin Mitnick is an American computer security consultant, author, and convicted hacker. He is best known for his high-profile 1995 arrest and five years in prison for various computer and communications-related crimes.  His insight into the world of Cybersecurity is firsthand as he was on the FBI’s Most Wanted List as one of the world’s foremost hackers.  He has since become a leading expert, giving presentations, talks, and starting MitnickSecurity and the Global Ghost team.

7. HealthITSecurity

While Cybersecurity affects every industry, Health Care is becoming a prime target for cyber-criminals.  There have been hospitals that have been infected with ransomware causing actual death.  HealthITSecurity is a great place to cut your chops on everything going on in Healthcare IT security.

8. Naked Security

Naked Security is the security threat blog of Sophos, a cybersecurity company. This popular blog has won numerous awards and has been around for quite some time as a leader in the Security Bloggosphere.

While most of the sites on this list seem more polished.  Secrets of the Dark is a simple straight forward WordPress site with great content related to the “dark web”.

10. REDDIT/R/Cybersecurity

Reedit – The front page of the internet.  There is so much valuable content on Reddit, it is hard to decide where to begin.  r/cybersecurity has great posts and a solid wiki with a plethora of cyber-security information that shouldn’t be missed.  While technically not a blog it still should not be overlooked.
